Shopping Web Application

August 2020

  • Implemented a responsive, Single Page Application using React JS and deployed it using firebase hosting service
  • Developed critical components of e-commerce website, including shopping cart, quick view, and checkout page, using React components and React Context API

Group Text Messaging Application

July 2020

  • Created a real-time interactive multi-user chatting application using React JS
  • Utilized Material-UI combined with Flexbox Layout module for designing the front-end and cloud firestore as database for saving all messages in the thread indefinitely

Learning Management System

  • Developed a Java Spring MVC web-app (JSP, Hibernate, MySQL) which allows teachers to administer, document and organize the courses they teach
  • Enabled students to register, manage, track progress and keep updated on announcements of all their courses
  • Integrated the application with HQL, Spring MVC form tags, Mapping Collections, and Hibernate Validator

Daycare Model

November 2019

  • Led a small team in building a Java desktop application for managing and maintaining records for a daycare facility
  • Modeled based on MVC Architecture, Abstract Factory Design patterns and SOLID design principles using Java Swing library
  • Designed a dashboard for data aggregation and visualization of client data

Algorithm to Accelerate Optimization in Convolutional Neural Network

April 2019

  • Developed an optimizer algorithm for training Neural Networks, in Python, to improve performance of optimization
  • Accelerated Optimization in Convolutional Neural Network by employing, our algorithm with decaying error-based learning rate and obtained optimum result with acceptable high accuracy in less time, balancing the trade-off between them
